On Friday 14 May 2004, the Divine Light of Mahaprabhuji was brought to London, England at the opening ceremony of the newest "Yoga in Daily Life" Centre, Sri Swami Madhavanandaji Ashram, in Queens Park – with Swamiji reminding us that this was at last fulfilling a prophecy made many years ago.
From June 4 - 7th 2004, Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwaranandaji payed his first visit to Ex-Soviet State Ukraine. The visit was a great success, Swamiji found there a large audience eager to learn about yoga and the wisdom of healthy and peaceful living. Many high representatives of medical, cultural and political institutions welcomed Swamiji and expressed their readiness for further cooperation.
Several Spanish Embassies have sent letters of gratitude acknowledging expressions of sympathy they received from the "Yoga in Daily Life" community. Messages of condolence and letters of support for the people of Madrid, following the bomb attack on March 11 2004, were warmly accepted and appreciated.
His Excellency T. P. Sreenivasan, who was the Ambassador of India to Austria for the last three and a half years, is soon going to leave Austria to attend to other duites. Being a great admirer of Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwaranandaji, he visited YIDL's international seminar in Vienna/Austria on June 19th 2004 to bid farewell to Swamiji and His disciples. At this occasion the Ambassador gave a beautiful and inspiring speech in which he thanked and hounoured Swamiji for His tireless spiritual, social and humanitarian efforts in Austria and world-wide.
Swamiji's great Rainwater Harvesting Project in Jadan (Rajasthan/India) is coming to a successful conclusion! The water basin, the talab, is nearly finished and awaiting rains to fill it! Jadan residents along with ashram's school children made prayers and pujas in talab and just minutes after that first clouds began to gather and rain started to pour heavily. Talab, being 140 meters long, 100 meters wide and 10 meters deep, was still only scarcely filled, but just enough to awake joy and hope in local people.
