International Day of Non-Violence 2018

The 2nd of October, birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, was proclaimed by the United Nations in 2007 to be the International Day of Non-Violence. Since then, it has been observed annually worldwide by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as Sri Swami Madhavananda World Peace Council and Yoga in Daily Life.

International Day of Peace observed worldwide by Yoga in Daily Life

The International Day of Peace has been observed worldwide by member states of the United Nations, as well as organs and organizations of the UN Systems, regional organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and individuals since 1981. Member societies of Yoga in Daily Life supported this initiative around the world again this year.
