On September 11 2003, in commemoration of the 80th birthday of His Holiness Hindu Dharmsamrat Paramhans Swami Madhavanandaji (who is known as Holy Guruji), a great celebration took place in Jadan ashram in Rajasthan/India. It was held in the presence of Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwaranandaji and the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Sri Ashok Gehlot.

Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda supports the "International Day of Peace Vigil" iniciative and appeals to the whole "Yoga in Daily Life" community worldwide to dedicate our thoughts and prayers on this particular day for World Peace.

On Monday 28th July 2003, in the heart of the Indian Thar Desert, a significant multi-cultural and multi-religious environmental event took place. More than 200 delegates representing fourteen countries participated in an International Tree Plantation Action Conference. This occasion follows the United Nations' Earth Charter proposal to reforest arid regions of the world.

On June 5th, 2003 in Ostrava/Czech Republic a Conference named "Development of Spirituality for World Peace" will take place, that will address topics of World Peace, Tolerance, Respect and Understanding among Nations, Cultures and Religions.
