Vishwaguruji continues tour in Australia
After Melbourne, Vishwaguruji continued his 2019 World Peace Tour in Australia with visits to Yoga in Daily Life ashrams on the east coast - including opening a new ashram on the Gold Coast followed by programs on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane, all in Queensland; then heading south for programs in Sydney and a weekend camping retreat near Dungog, in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. The programs progressively built on the techniques and information of the chakras and kundalini.
On Monday evening, 18 February 2019, Vishwaguruji officially opened the new YIDL Yoga Studio in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast, in the northeastern Australian state of Queensland. Vishwaguruji gave a beautiful talk on the history of yoga, chakras and kundalini.
The program continued in the Sunshine Coast on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at the Maroochydore YIDL Centre, as Vishwaguriji expanded in more detail the knowledge of chakras and hidden powers in humans.
Vishwaguruji continued to Brisbane and then onto Sydney, elaborating on the chakras and meaning of kundalini. Many techniques where given at both programs for the Vishuddhi Chakra (throat centre) and for supporting thyroid function.
At the final lecture in Sydney Ashram, the qualities and properties of the Svadhishthana Chakra (sacral centre) were introduced and beautifully described.
The next destination on the tour was Dungog, three hours drive north of Sydney. A public lecture was held in the town centre, and then Vishwaguruji and the group enjoyed camping and practicing surrounded by nature, at the Yoga in Daily Life Bush Retreat at Main Creek, in the hills just outside Dungog.
Athe much anticipated bush retreat, the group enjoyed time of peaceful reconnection with nature. The chakra and kundalini theme progressed with many more techniques and knowledge shared by Vishwaguruji. The appearance at dusk and dawn of wallabies and kangaroos enhanced the atmosphere, while kookaburras awoke most campers before dawn with their distinctive laughing calls.
After an inspiring and successful Australian Tour, the program finished on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri on Monday 4 March. The morning began with a puja (sacred ceremony) at the newly constructed Sri Alakpuriji Mahadeshwar Shiva Mandir on the hilltop at Main Creek, surrounded by the Barriington Top mountains and national park. Prayers and mantras were chanted as the sacred murtis (statues) of Shivji, Ganeshji and Nandiji were precisely set in place.
The group then journeyed to the YIDL Sydney Ashram again, for the last evening and the Maha Shivaratri celebrations with chanting, mantras and pujas that continued on through the late night.
Vishwaguruji was given a heartfelt farewell in Sydney at the International Airport by the bhaktas and new devotees as he continued to New Zealand for the 2019 World Peace Tour.
