Vishwaguruji at the Royal Bath in Prayagraj Kumbha Mela
HH Vishwaguruji Mahamandaleshwar Swami Maheshwaranandaji and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Gyaneshwarpuriji accompanied by Swami Premanandji, Swami Avatarpuriji and Swami Umapuriji took the 'Holy Dip' in the Sangam (confluence) of the three holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Sarasvati. They were followed by hundreds of bhaktas from India, Europe and further afield.
It was the special planetary constellation of Mauni Amavasya and during that day, 50 million people took part in this 'Holy Dip'.
As a special priviledge, Vishwaguruji was the first Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani and Atal Akhara who was honored to approach the Sangam to take the holy bath.
During the Kumbha Mela, Vishwaguruji was warmly invited to meet with Swami Adgadanandji Maharaj, author of Yatharth Geeta, a much respected translation and commentary on the ancient scripture, Bhagavad Gita, who adored Holy Guruji Swami Madhavananda very much and is a close friend of Vishwaguruji.
