International Yoga Day, first report from Delhi
On Saturday, 20 June 2015 as a pre-event to #IDY, International Day of Yoga, Vishwaguruji personally guided a yoga class for local Indians as well as for international delegates, in Sri Devpuriji Ashram, New Delhi.
Starting at 6am, it began with Sarva Hita Asana, Level 1 of the scientific master system Yoga in Daily Life - authored and designed by Vishwaguruji, based on authentic ancient Yoga scriptures for people of modern times. These exercises are indeed "good for all" and can be practised at any age and in every walk of life.
The warming and stretching exercises were followed by the masterpiece sequence Khatu Pranam. Vishwaguruji then explained the meaning of pranayama and the different types or variations of pranayama exercises: Nadi Shodhana, Bhastrika and Kapala Bhati, which were demonstrated and practised, too.
This exceptional Yoga class was completed by Chidakash and Hridayakash meditation, observing and feeling of the inner space and the heart chakra; radiating love and mercy to the entire world. OM shantih shantih shantih
