International Weekend Seminar with Vishwaguruji in Guruji Ashram, Vienna
"Health is the greatest wealth," said Vishwaguruji, "bigger and more important than wealth or fame. Health is not only physical well-being; health encompasses the body, mind and soul. A very important aspect of our health is the right food. 'We are what we eat.' Unhealthy food - junk food, manipulated food, and food treated with pesticides and chemicals, meat, and bad fats make us ill. Unfortunately, it is difficult at the present time to get natural and untreated food. Therefore it is very important to pay attention to the origin, biological quality and proper preparation of food."
Vishwaguruji explained that the mind can also make us sick. That thoughts have a powerful effect on our state of being. Laziness, negative thoughts, greed, envy, jealousy, anger, etc. can make a person just as sick as bad food. And he said that there are also emotional or karmic diseases, which doctors usually treat as mental disorders. But the cause of these disorders can come from the astral planes, from unredeemed ancestors. In order to treat these disorders and diseases we need the help of puja (ceremonies), mantra and prayer.
At the end of the seminar Vishwaguruji concluded with some important advice:
"We always think the doctor will make us healthy. That's right. But only if we follow his instructions exactly. Just as it is in spirituality. The Master can lead us to self-realization, if we remain faithful to him and follow his path.
"Health means clarity and clarity is wisdom. If you have wisdom, you have achieved everything.
"To be born and die and be born again is also a disease. From this wheel of birth and death, we want to escape! Ultimately we have to return the body to Mother Earth and the soul continues on its endless journey. The Master shows you a clear path to the light and to Brahma Gyana. Always be willing to learn. Never think that you know everything. If you think you know everything and become angry if someone says something else, this proves that you still have no wisdom. Stay on the path of wisdom, spirituality, liberation, self-realization and fulfillment of your dharma as a human.
"Our task is to transform this Kali Yuga (the Dark Age) into Satya Yuga (Golden Age). This is our goal and our way."
