Holi Celebrations with Vishwaguruji in Vienna, Austria

On Wednesday 23 March 2016, His Holiness Vishwaguruji blessed a hall full of devotees and students in Guruji Ashram, Vienna, with a satsang full of wise words. It was the opportunity to rejoice in his divine presence on the occasion of Holi – the spiritual festival which celebrates victory of positive over negative energy.

Vishwaguruji explained that there has always been a war between devik shakti – representing pure, divine, peaceful, sattvic energy – and asuri shakti, the negative powers. He mentioned that the same fight is constantly going on within each of us. We all have both positive and negative qualities and Vishwaguruji again encouraged everyone to learn how to control the negative energy.

He advised that negativity can only be removed and purified through sadhana (spiritual/yoga practice), good deeds and guidance of the Master.

Moreover, Vishwaguruji gave an example in the beautiful story of Hiranyakashyap and his son Prahlad, that God always protects his bhaktas and is ready to do anything for the sake of his devotees. We just have to have faith in Him.
