"Yoga in daily life" by Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda is a holistic and comprehensive system concerning body, mind, consciousness and soul. It is a complete system elaborated on the basis of the authentic yoga heritage. It includes all main yoga paths:

  • the path of the selfless way of acting (Karma Yoga)
  • the path of discipline and meditation (Raja Yoga)
  • the path of devotion (Bhakti Yoga)
  • the path of realization and knowledge (Gyana Yoga)
  • purification techniques (Hatha Yoga)

Through "Yoga in Daily Life" we learn our human responsibility towards the world and environment in which we are living; we foster our compassions for all living beings; we develop hidden forces dormant in us and learn how to utilise them for the benefit of the world.

"Yoga in Daily Life" can be practised in everyday life. It offers therapeutic help for people, and it is a set of recommendations of how to achieve balance of mind and spiritual harmony, how to purify one's subconsciousness and finally how to realize one's Self. A real yogi is a person who radiates love, peace, forgiveness, wisdom and compassion, and who is always willing to offer help and protection to any living being.
